Conditions of sale

Ordering

For each new instrument a deposit of £100.00 Sterling is required to place a provisional order on the waiting list.

All deposits are non-returnable in the event of cancellation of the order by the buyer.

Payment and Delivery

When the instrument is complete but prior to delivery the remaining amount must be paid. When this is done I will deliver the instrument, or you may come to collect it.

All import and export duties and fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Unless otherwise stated instruments are dispatched complete, assembled and tuned A=440 Hz international concert pitch in equal temperament and ready for use.

Guarantee

All of the instruments, and all of the repairs to existing instruments that I make carry a guarantee of 5 years, so long as you are the original owner of the instrument. This guarantees that any failure due to defective parts or workmanship will be repaired free of charge by me, however in such a case the customer is required to pay any postage charges, carrying charges or import duties. I have no reason to believe that there would be any problems with any of my work, everything is made to a high standard and the designs are largely based on high quality historic instruments which have stood the test of time.

 

 

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Privacy issues are very important to me and companies are required nowadays to comply to General Data Protection Regulation laws.

Use of Personal Data

When ordering an instrument or sending one in for repair, naturally I will require some of your personal details such as phone number, email and perhaps address if I need to post you your instrument. I will not use these details to send advertisements to you, nor will I pass these details on to any third party who will. I might perhaps one day email you to ask some particular question about how your instrument is performing but even that is rather unlikely.

Action required from you

If you have used my services or contacted me to enquire about using my services I will automatically assume you are happy for me to keep whatever details you imparted on me by contacting me, be that your phone number or email address. If you are unhappy with me retaining these details, let me know and I will delete them from any records I may have.
